Tax Revenues from Non-oil Sector Grew by 10.5%
In the first nine months of this year the Ministry of Taxes transferred to the state budget 4 billion 926.2 million AZN. It is 168 million AZN or 3.3% less than in the comparable period of 2015.
According to the Analytical Information Department of the Ministry of Taxes, SOCAR carried out the nine-month forecast at 100.6%, and the companies involved in PSA – at 82%.
The non-oil-gas sector accounted for 78% (3 billion 843.6 million AZN) of tax revenue in the first three quarters of this year. During this period, tax revenues from the non-oil sector increased by 365.9 million AZN or 10.5%.
According to the Ministry of Taxes, as of October 1, 2016 the total number of registered taxpayers reached 929,300 subjects. Since the beginning of this year 89,100 taxpayers have been registered. ------08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
