Taxes Ministry Reports Amount of Contract with Tekfen Inshaat
The Ministry of Taxes reported the amount of the contract for the construction of a new administrative building in Baku. This happened after about 50 days after signing the contract with Tekfen Inshaat ve Tesisat A.S. (Turkey) in July.
The contract value amounted to 110 million 920 thousand AZN. On July 21 Tekfen reported that the amount of the contract is 94 million USD or about 150 million AZN. The Taxes Ministry did not comment on this message.
The Turkish contractor’s functions include reinforced concrete and steel works, as well as front facing of the 31-storey building.
The new administrative building of the Ministry of Taxes was built on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in 2014. Prior to this the ministry concluded several contracts with local companies, including Azerbaijan-Turkish International Renaissance Construction Azerbaijan, in the amount of 132.1 million AZN. ----08B
