Thanks to smart card gas meters, Azerigas has gas sales proficit
Azerigas, gas distribution company of SOCAR, has released the report about gas sales to the population.
According to the report posted on the company's web site, from January to July 2013 Azerigas sold gas to the amount of 133,090,047 AZN. During this period 135,674,400 AZN was collected from population for natural gas. The plan fulfillment constituted 101.94%.
The gas sale proficit was at the expense of the so-called smart card meters.
According to Azerigas, by August 1, 2013 Azerigas had 1,561,750 customers, of which 1,542,742 ones fell to the population (98.78%). 1,542,627 customers from the population category (99.99%) were supplied with gas meters. 773,758 of the meters (50.1%) were smart card meters.
Azerigas also reported that in July 2013 gas to the amount of 6,261,083 AZN was sold to the population, it received 8,841,097 AZN or 141.2% for the received gas.
During this period Azerigas registered 82,577 of news gas customers, of which 25,436 ones are in Baku, Sumgait and Absheron and 57,141 ones in the Azerbaijani regions.-0-
