Mobile Internet from Azercell is the fastest in Azerbaijan. According to the indicators "Ookla Net Index", a local mobile operator provides mobile internet speed equal to 6.12 MB/s. "Ookla" makes daily about 5 million measurements using more than 300 thousand unique IP addresses.
Mobile Internet provided by Azercell, is very close to the level of fixed broadband Internet. Today, every second Azercell subscriber is an active mobile Internet user, and uses it by two times more than in 2013.
Azercell also became the first company in Azerbaijan to realize the commercial launch of the technology 4G. At the end of last year, 300 of the 6000 radio-base stations of the network provide LTE (4G) to Baku and Absheron peninsula. - 17D-

Food imports for January-September reached USD 1.755 billion, marking an 11.4% increase over the same period last year. This represents a USD 179.7 million increase compared to 2023, setting a record for food imports in the country’s history.
