The official inflation rate is reduced to a minimum
During January-November of this year, consumer prices in Azerbaijan increased compared to the same period in 2011 by 1.2%, Turan was told in the State Statistical Committee.
Unofficially, estimates consumer prices exceed this macroeconomic indicator, which is also the social element.
In January of this year, inflation compared to the comparable month in 2011 reached 4.8%. Gradually, however, the rate began to decline. It is noteworthy that in January-November 2011, the inflation rate in Azerbaijan reached 8%.
According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-November 2012 food prices increased 1%, non-food products - 1.1%, and paid services - 1.3%.
The inflation rate is used to index the basic pensions, and also applies to pecuniary damages. - 08D-
