The richest store of Windows 8 - Windows Store
The application store for Windows 8 operating system, called Windows Store has collected more than 20,000 programs.
As noted in the official report, the total number of such programs in the store. The number of applications available in a particular country may be smaller because some programs have regional restrictions.
For comparison, the U.S. Appendix Windows Store contains about 12.7 thousand programs, and in the UK - about 11 thousand programs.
Of the 20,000 programs in the store 87 percent are free. One of the most expensive apps in Windows Store is EMR Surface, designed for health personnel. It costs 499.99 USD and is intended for documentation on patients.
The mark of 20 thousand apps was overcome by Windows Store on 20 November. In this, on Nov. 5 the store had 12,900 programs. Thus, the shop was daily supplemented approximately by 450 programs.
