Tomorrow Azerbaijani parliament to ratify gas agreements with turkey
Two important gas-related issues were inserted into the agenda of tomorrow's Milli Mejlis session, reads web site of parliament.
The Deputies will have to discuss and adopt two intergovernmental documents on cooperation in gas industry between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
The first document was signed between Azerbaijani and Turkish governments on October 25, 2011 in Izmir and envisages sale of Azerbaijani gas to this neighboring country as well as its transit via its territory.
The second document signed on June 26, 2012 in Istanbul envisages construction of the trans-Anadolu gas pipeline (TANAP) to transit Azerbaijani gas via Turkey.
The both documents were discussed and adopted by the Milli Mejlis Commission on Energy, Natural Resources and Ecology on November 6, 2012.
Turkish parliament has already ratified these agreements.-0-

In recent days, there have been claims that bread prices in Azerbaijan have risen. Social media users report that the price of bread has increased by 5-10 qepiks. According to consumer complaints, it is difficult to find weight information on factory-produced bread, commonly known as "zavod çörəyi" in Azerbaijan. In many cases, bread packaging does not include weight details. Similarly, bread sold at smaller bakeries and tandir houses often lacks information apart from the price.
