Transfers from the State Oil Fund to the state budget again exceeded 50%
Transfers from the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan's state budget in the first half amounted to 4 billion 883.8 million manats, or 52.25% of its revenues. These and other data of the basic fiscal law are published on the site of the Ministry of Finances.
According to Chief Financial Office, in January-June 2014 the total budget revenues amounted to 9 billion 338.8 million manat, expenses - 723.8 billion 8 million manat with a surplus of 615 million or 2.1% of the produced GDP. Forecast on income is fulfilled by 101.6%, expenditure - 94.7%.
In the structure of income, in the first place are direct petrodollars, then indirect revenues from the oil sector, through the Ministry of Taxes, enriched by 3 billion 578.6 million manat, the State Customs Committee, to 732.8 million manat, the rest - other income.
In the structure of budgetary expenditures a champion of financing is Defense Ministry, including Defense Ministry (24.5% compared to last year), communal services, and strengthened the positions by 23.1%, followed by health care with education - by 7.6% per each, as well as transport and communications - 6.3% gain. Social expenditure amounted to 2 billion 644.9 million manat with weight of 30.3% and an increase of 14.5%.
Champion on costs are traditionally investments into the construction and reconstruction of social, sports infrastructure, and the construction of housing 1 billion invested 57.2 million of state manat , additional 2 billion 315.8 million manats spent on construction and reconstruction of energy, water , gas, transport, utilities and reclamation structures. Volume of financing in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was 37.1 million manat.
Azerbaijan's state budget for 2014 was approved with revenues of 18 billion 384 million manats at a cost of 20 billion AZN 63 million (projected deficit of 1 billion 679 million manats, or 2.87% of GDP.) - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
