The deep state is back in circulation

The FETO's most spoiled functionary in the media was, of course, the Taraf newspaper. The authorities in the second coming decided to “deal with the Turkish army”, and after listening to the achievements of the West, began to work closely with FETO.

"Taraf" has become the main center of undocumented and unproven propaganda against the army, the newspaper was assigned the role of a "screwdriver and screw" in the destruction of the system. After the destruction of the attempts of the two-day operation of December 17-25 to establish relations between the authorities and the FETO, the newspaper turned its weapons against the authorities, but there were no bullets.

In addition to the fact that public trust was lost, the famous writer Ahmet Altan was removed from the leadership of the newspaper. Another well-known journalist who supported media attacks on Nazla Ylychak’s army and professor, Ahmed Altan’s brother, Mehmet Altan, were placed in the center of the FETO propaganda machine. Three of the aforementioned persons were arrested after an attempted military coup on July 15, 2016. The reason is that they supported the FETO in the media.

After some time, Mehmet Altan was released from prison. Nazli Ylychak and Ahmet Altan were released after about 3.5 years in prison 10 days ago. However, the public conscience did not accept their release. Because of the protests, Ahmet Altan was again placed in custody.

Up to this point, everything was a simple depiction of facts. Now we will consider the domestic and foreign reasons for the release of Nazla Ylychak and Ahmet Altan. The external reason was that the West continued to consider Nazly Ylychak and especially Ahmet Altan as journalistic writers. Demands for their release were greatly increased. It was necessary to ease the pressure and the authorities forced the court to take such a step. The West accepted this with satisfaction, and Turkish public discontent peaked. (For the first time during my journalistic activity in Turkey, I see such a sharp reaction to the release of a journalist-writer).

The internal reason for the release of Ylychak and Ahmet Altan has deeper and hidden roots.  A little earlier, President Erdogan created the Higher Consultative Center consisting of former chair of the Mejlis. Bulent Arinc was admitted to the Council, whose very close relations with the authorities at some time were not in doubt. Arinc’s son-in-law is one of the closest people to FETO, as described in detail in the prosecution’s charge.

In the days when Ylychak and Altan were released, the court also acquitted the son-in-law, and Bulent openly criticized the decisions in the law on granting the president unlimited powers and purifying FETO people from state bodies.

Arinc took his words back after the intervention of President Erdogan; his position gave people the impression of approaching between the government and his former ally - a religious sect.

The two men, who used to be friends, but then became bloody enemies will come out and say that they misunderstood each other and the public misjudged them. Other forces (such as the Kamalists) made an attempted coup, and we, as Muslim brothers, must join hands again and continue our journey.

Even if there were no public protests, the Turkish court would again imprison Ahmet Altan, should have done it. Moreover, that was not the threat of repeated violation of stability in the state. Seeing such a development, the deep state kicked back the hidden intentions of the FETO and again strengthened the position of the head of state.

The Republic of Turkey was once again saved from being surrounded by religious sectarians.

Did it happened? The deep state continues its job.
