In April, prices for construction materials rose by 4.3%. This was due to the prices for construction rebar of all profiles that rose from 550 to 640 manats. The remaining materials, except for cement optimal range (+ 10%) and pine wood (+ 8%), did not change.
In March, the rise in the prices for construction materials was by 2%, in February, the prices fell by 8.5%. In January, they were stable. In December, the prices rose by 19.2%. It was the most noticeable jump in prices for 2015. Before that, building materials fell significantly in November - by 8.6%. In October, the average price decreased by 0.5% in Baku, with the following background: -0.027% in September, -1.75% in August, + 0.32% in July, -0.27% in June, + 0.45% in May, and - 0.1% in April.
Experts note that the dynamics of prices for building materials demonstrates the stability and balance of the market. You can expect a seasonal relative recovery in the market. But significant rise in prices is not expected due to the deterioration of the overall economic performance.
