A lawsuit on the fact of poisoning Abulfaz Elchibey
Baku City Prosecutor Office filed a lawsuit on the fact of poisoning former President Abulfaz Elchibey. This sensational news was made in the press service of the General Prosecutor Office.
"City Prosecutor Office investigated the appeal of Hafiz Hajiyev, the leader of the Sovereign Musavat party, on poisoning Elchibey.
During the investigation Hajiyev and others expressed the view that Elchibey was poisoned deliberately, and therefore his health deteriorated.
A lawsuit was filed under the Article 29,120.1 of the Criminal Code (attempt to murder.) Investigative activities are ongoing," reads the statement.
It is not reported when this opinion came to Hafiz Hajiyev, and whom he suspected. Interestingly, the former president died of cancer in 2000, and he was treated in Turkey. So far, the authorities have not thought of such nonsense as poisoning Elchibey, but suddenly they remembered. It is not difficult to guess against whom this charge will be used - opposition leaders, who will be compromised in this way. -03B-
