Armenia Refused from Chess Olympiad in Baku
The Chess Federation of Armenia has not filed an application to the International Chess Federation to participate in the Chess Olympiad to be held in Baku in September of this year. The deadline for submission ends on July 31, in which case the federation has to pay 100 euros for each participant.
However, as reported by the sports journalists of A1 +, referring to the Vice-chairman of the Armenian Chess Federation Smbat Lputyan, they did not apply and are not going to do that. Thus, the male and female teams of Armenia will miss the Chess Olympiad 2016, which will be held in Baku on September 1-14. -02D-
