Arthur Finkelstein does not mean objectivity yet - Jamil Hasanli
Baku / 03.02.20 / Turan: The objectivity and independence of the American organization “Arthur J. Finkelstein & Associates” raises serious doubts, the head of the National Council of Democratic Forces, Jamil Hasanli, wrote on his Facebook page.
This structure is one of those allowed to conduct exit polls in the upcoming February 9 parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. The results of the work of this structure during the presidential elections in Azerbaijan in 2013 almost completely coincided with the figures of the CEC of Azerbaijan. However, the OSCE / ODIHR mission found gross violations in 58% of polling stations and did not recognize the elections as being in line with democratic standards.
According to Hasanli, the authorities want to use this structure to legitimize the results of future elections.
“After that, they will announce to the whole world what they see, even the American organization confirms the election results,” Hasanli writes. –03D-
