Azerbaijan no longer agrees with what we agree - Pashinyan's confession
Baku / 21.10.20 / Turan: The Karabakh issue, starting from this stage and for a very long time, will not be able to have a diplomatic solution, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this today live on his Facebook page.
All hopes and proposals for a diplomatic solution should be considered complete, he said. According to Pashinyan, the Armenian side was ready for compromises, but Azerbaijan did not.
“Compromise means that you can lower the bar to solve the problem, but the other side must also lower the bar. However, Azerbaijan no longer agrees with what we agree or can agree with. This indicates that it is pointless to talk about a diplomatic solution at this stage,” Pashinyan noted, without specifying what exactly Yerevan agreed to.
Today, in an interview with the Iranian newspaper IRNA, Pashinyan admitted that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries could not influence the ongoing events. “They make statements, express their position, but this does not affect the situation in any way,” Pashinyan admitted. -02D-
