Azerbaijani Ambassador to Romania Replaced
Baku / 06.11.18 / Turan: President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the recall of Farid Abdinbekov from the post of Azerbaijani Ambassador to Romania. By another decree of the head of state, Huseyn Najafov was appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Romania.
In 2010-2015 Najafov was the Consul General of Azerbaijan in Batumi, Georgia. -06D--

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times.
