Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denies reports of skirmish on border with Armenia
Baku/28.07.22/Turan: The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denied the report of the Armenian military department about a shootout on the border of the two countries this afternoon.
“The information spread by the Armenian press that the units of the Azerbaijani Army allegedly opened fire in the direction of enemy positions on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border is a lie and disinformation,” reads a message posted on the Facebook page of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
Earlier, the Armenian Defense Ministry stated that "on July 28, at about 12:00, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire from various-caliber firearms at Armenian military positions located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border." --06D--
