Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office insists on the extradition of an Israeli blogger
Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan is doing everything possible to bring about the extradition of an Israeli citizen of Belarus, Alexander Lapshin, a blogger known by the network nickname puerrtto. In Azerbaijan, he is accused of public appeals against the state and illegal crossing of the state border, reported on December 16 IA Sputnik.
According to the portal IzRus, on the night of December 15, Lapshin was detained in Minsk on request of Azerbaijan. In his last post in the social network Facebook, he wrote that he was on the First district police department of Minsk. After that, he stopped communicating and responding comments.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, Lapshin, has also passports of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, in April 2011 and in October 2012 entered illegally the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, thus violating the laws of Azerbaijan "On the State Border of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and "On the passports." It is also alleged that he promoted the illegal regime, representing Nagorno-Karabakh as an independent state.
With regard to the blogger was filed a lawsuit under the Articles 281.2 (open calls against the state) and 318.2-ci (illegal crossing the state border of Azerbaijan) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan Republic. Lapshin is internationally wanted.—0—
