In January-November 2016 the cost of consumer products compared with last year increased by 12.2%, the State Statistics Committee. The cost of food has increased by 14.1%, non-food products by 16.8%, paid services - by 5.6%.
In November 2016 compared with October, consumer goods and services prices rose 1.7%. At 2.6%, food prices rose by 1.9% - non-food goods, and paid services - by 0.3%.
Over the last month grew the price for rice, flour, buckwheat, cookies and other sweets, pasta, beef, lamb, chicken, fish and sausages, dairy products, cheese and eggs, butter and vegetable oil, sugar and granulated sugar, coffee, tea, cocoa, alcoholic beverages, as well as pears, pomegranates, quinces, tomatoes, cucumbers.
The price for bananas, apples, lemons, persimmons, oranges, chestnuts, cabbage, greens, carrots, onions became cheaper.
In November, compared with October, more expensive became fabrics, clothing and footwear, building materials, medicines, furniture, jewelry, carpets, glassware, dishes, appliances, personal computers, stationery, books, spare parts for cars.
During the month, there was increase in prices for paid services, rental housing, home appliances, as well as the prices for international passenger transport by rail, air and sea. -05В-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
