Second Global Forum of open societies with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev began in Baku on Monday.
The Forum has been organized by the International Centre of Nizami Ganjavi , Madrid and Rome Club with the support of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora and several international organizations. It is attended by about 200 political figures, government officials, experts and scholars from 57 countries.
The forum's agenda includes issues related to the scope and basis of open society, their economic mainstay, methods of solving complex conflict situations, needs in multitasking and institutional framework for sustainable development, according to the website of the President.
