During the recent visit of the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov to Ankara, it was stated that on upcoming summit, the leaders of the three countries will sign 5 major interstate agreements.

Earlier, Baku and Ashgabat agreed on the construction of a gas pipeline along the bottom of the Caspian Sea from the Dostlug field to the Azerbaijani coast. It is possible that it will become a section of the future Trans-Caspian gas pipeline, which will be connected to the system of the Southern Gas Corridor, through which gas from Azerbaijan goes to Europe. The implementation of this project can finally solve the problem of gas shortage in Europe, since the proven natural gas reserves of Turkmenistan are among the largest in the world - 19.5 trillion cubic meters. cube -0-
