Cabinet approves the rules for registration of grants funded NGOs and foreign donors
Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers approved the "Rules of registration of contracts for the provision of services to NGOs, as well as branches and representative offices of foreign NGOs by foreign financial sources and the implementation of work" on October 21, 2015 for №337.

According to the rules, the grant agreement shall be submitted to the Ministry of Justice for registration not later than 15 days after the date of its conclusion. Not any bank or other operations can be conducted in the absence of agreements or registered contracts.
The decision on registration or refusal of registration of the grant is carried out by Ministry of Justice within 15 days. If necessary, this period may be extended by 15 days.
The refusal may be followed in the event of non-compliance with legal requirements of the contract and not eliminate them in the corresponding period. The rules were adopted under the amendments to the legislation in 2014 with the aim of tightening control over grants from foreign donors.-0--

According to him, the sewer system could not handle the large volume of floodwater, which led to the drowning of two people in a tunnel in the Sabunchu district of Baku.
