Election Commission will work hard - expert
Baku / 05.12.19 / Turan: The appointment of early parliamentary elections for February 9, 2020 does not raise legal issues, said lawyer Alesker Mammadli.
It also complies with the law to hold parliamentary elections after the municipal elections, which will be held on December 23. However, such a schedule will force election commissions to work on a busy schedule and complicate their activities.
The campaign to collect candidates' 450 signatures of voters will be tense, because the candidates are short of time. Thus, the law allotted 22 days for election campaigning, Mammadli noted. –021С-
