European Commissioner discussed with the Azerbaijani opposition situation in the country
A meeting of the European Commissioner for Human Rights Nils Muzhnieks with representatives of Azerbaijani opposition in the person of the head of the National Council Jamil Hasanli, Tofig Yagublu, the former ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe Arif Mammadov, "Azadlig" newspaper’s editor Ganimat Zahid , and APFP member Elnur Sadigov took place in Strasbourg on 12 September. The meeting was very productive, wrote on his Facebook page Tofig Yagublu. "We were told that in the future the Council of Europe's position on issues related to Azerbaijan will be more objective and principled," writes Yagublu.
