Famous Lawyers Join Campaign "Collect 5 Kopecks"
The country’s Leading law and human rights NGOs, joined the campaign “Collect 5 kopecks”. The campaign is in favor of youth activists fined for participating in the rally on January 12, protesting against the deaths of soldiers. The purpose of the campaign is to raise money to pay fines of the young people.
More than 30 famous lawyers of the country made donations: Intigam Aliyev, Vidadi Mirkamal, Irada Cavadova, Gurban Mammadov, Fuad Agayev, Adil Ismailov, Akif Alizadeh, Anar Gasimov, Namizad Safarov, Alovsat Aliyev, Annagi Hajibeyli, Rashid Gadili, Asabali Mustafayev, Khalid Bagirov, Alasgar Mammadli, Yalcin Imanov, Elchin Sadigov etc.
According to the head of the Legal Enlightenment Society, Intigam Aliyev, the first day of the campaign, 700 manat was collected, including 150 manat in 5 kopeck coins.
The campaign will continue until January 27.
To ensure transparency in the use of the raised funds, a working group was created with the participation of youth activists Emin Milli, Ruslan Asad, Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, Narmin Rahimli and Zaur Akbar.

For participating in the rally on January 12, Twenty-five people are to pay a fine from 300 to 600 manat. The total amount of fines is not more than 12,000 manat. –06D-
