Group of parties condemns the draft amendments to the Constitution
On 26 July representatives of five political parties ("Azadlig", "Aydinlar", Liberal Democrat, Classic Popular Front, Citizen and Development) held a meeting, where they discussed the amendments to the Constitutionproposed by the president.
According to a press release issued after the meeting, the parties regarded the proposed changes and additions as an attempt to create a constitutional monarchy.
The parties called on all democratic forces to oppose these amendments, with one voice, reads the document. -05D-
