Human rights NGO proposes to establish a monument to ADR in the park Sahil
A proposal to establish a monument to Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-20 ) in the park Sahil in the center of Baku came from the Society to Protect the Rights of Women named after Dilara Aliyeva.
This human rights NGO also offered to rename Sahil Park into Jumhuriyyet ( Republic ) .
These initiatives are put forward in the light of the disposal of the Head of State on the 130th anniversary of the birth of one of the founders of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR) Mamed Emin Rasulzade.
Authors of the idea along with the construction of the monument also offered to set an eternal flame before it. -06D -
