HUMAN RIGHTS WATCH MENTIONED AZERBAIJAN AMONG COUNTRIES PROSECUTING PEOPLE CRITICIZING GOVERNMENT

At the meeting of the heads of security services of the CIS countries held in Moscow on 26 November, 'the issues of cooperation of special services to ensure security of the CIS countries in the face of ‘multifaceted efforts of the West aimed at destabilising the situation in the CIS space’ were discussed.

The United States highly appreciates Azerbaijan's active role in the Partnership for Peace (PfP) programme and country's continued commitment to cooperation with the Alliance, the US Embassy said in a statement on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan's joining the PfP.
