Ilham Aliyev Met with Current and Former Presidents of France
Talks between the Presidents of France and Azerbaijan - Francois Hollande and Ilham Aliyev were held in Paris yesterday.
As the website of the President of Azerbaijan said, the sides exchanged views on issues related to various areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and France. They appreciated the successful development of the political, economic and cultural spheres. They slso emphasized the active role of French companies in the Azerbaijani economy and highlighted the importance of investing by France in Azerbaijan.
The meeting also discussed the current state of negotiations on the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and the steps to be taken in this direction.
Aliyev also met with the former President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy. --0--
