John Kerry: Parties Not Ready to Settle Karabakh Conflict
The head of the US State Department, John Kerry believes that the conditions for overcoming the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh have not yet been developed.
This opinion he expressed in his statement of 29 September, which characterized the state of conflicts in the world and, above all, the situation in Syria.
Turning to other regions, he noted that "in today's world there are some frozen conflicts like Nagorno-Karabakh: Azerbaijan-Armenia", where "the possibility of settlement is not viewed now, primarily "because the leaders are not ready," TASS quotes the head of the State Department.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict does not apply to this type, Kerry said. In his view, such conflicts are complex ones, but you can see “how to leave them in the past, if people take certain complexes of decisions.” -02D-
