Khadija Ismaylova is threatened with arrest for six months (UPDATED)
A columnist of Radio "Liberty", Khadija Ismailova, considers strange filing a lawsuit due to a material she placed on Facebook.
In an interview with Turan , she said that earlier in their investigations she revealed numerous cases of corruption in Azerbaijan. However, until now prosecutors has never been interested in them.
She called on the prosecutor to investigate these facts, and expressed readiness to cooperate with the investigation, to testify and tell about sources fro which she got the documents.
Ismailova also announced that she has completed work on another three of investigations on the fact of expensive real estate abroad of high-ranking government officials. In the near future, these materials will be published. They have been prepared in cooperation with the international investigative journalism network and copies of these papers are kept abroad.
Instead, investigators of prosecutor office aggressively demand from Ismailova the source of the document on recruiting an opposition member by the Ministry of National Security. Otherwise, she will be arrested for six months.
Next time Ismaiova will be summoned to the prosecutor on February 20.—06D--

Another interrogation of the observer of Radio Azadlig Khadija Ismayilova in the Investigation Department for Serious Crimes of the Prosecutor General will take place on February 20.
As the journalist told Turan, in today's interrogation the investigator told her that she should notify the investigation about her departure from the country and from town. She was accompanied by her lawyer Elton Guliyev during the interrogation. -16D04-

This morning the observer of the Azerbaijani service of Radio Liberty, Khadija Ismayilova, was again summoned to the prosecutor's office for questioning on charges of the spying scandal.
Recall that the authorities considered as divulging state secrets the publishing of a document on recruitment by the Ministry of National Security of an opposition member to inform the authorities about the processes within the opposition.
On this fact proceedings were initiated under Article 284.2 of the Criminal Code. The first interrogation of the journalist was held on February 18.
Ismayilova's rights are protected by the well-known local lawyer Elton Guliyev. -05B/D-
