Large-scale night exercises of Azerbaijani Armed Forces
On April 5 will begin large-scale tactical exercises of Azerbaijani Armed Forces with the involvement of all types of troops. For the first time such exercises will be conducted at night.
According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, the exercise will be involved 15-strong contingent, 200 pieces of equipment, more than 300 rockets and artillery pieces, 12 helicopters, 8 combat aircraft and air defense units and air defense compounds. Teachings pursue the following objectives: testing of offensive operations, management and units of ground forces, break the enemy's defense with tanks and infantry fighting vehicles at night, landing behind enemy lines, the interaction of the attackers and air defense forces.
At night will be shooting by motorized infantry and tank units from the missile and artillery, anti-aircraft missiles, aerial bombardment. The training will last until April 10, the venue was not noted. -16D-
