Mehdiyev indirectly hinted of a third term Ilham Aliyev

As for the intelligentsia forum and its activities, according to Ramiz Mehdiyev, the Forum members are not intellectuals of Azerbaijan. "Just 10-15 people who have gathered and created the organization. If we analyze the past and current organizer of this structure, we can understand what the nature and the purpose of the Forum and its organizers are. Someone was not elected, someone failed in business, someone has other interests, someone was removed from his job. These types of people gather there and have fun. For the future of Azerbaijan, the Forum has no value. In Azerbaijan, there are hundreds of thousands of intellectuals. 10-15 people cannot protect the interests of the intelligentsia," said the head of the Presidential Administration.

According to him, Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani President has big plans regarding the future of the country. "By the end of this year the work will be finalized over the concept of the future Azerbaijan-2020, which will be discussed and signed by the head of state. In 2020, Azerbaijan will become a powerful state and well-known all over the world and the region," said Mehdiyev.
