Ministry of Emergency Situations Urges Population to Take Precautions in Connection with COVID-19 Spread Threat
Baku / 23.11.20 / Turan: In connection with a sharp increase in cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the recent days and favorable weather conditions for the spread of infectious and respiratory diseases, the Ministry of Emergencies of Azerbaijan urged the population to comply with the requirements of a special quarantine regime.
In a video message posted on the agency's website, the need to comply with three "very simple rules" is noted. In particular, it is required to use medical masks in closed places and open spaces, maintain a distance of at least 2 meters between people, wash hands with soap more often, and disinfect them.
If you or your loved ones find symptoms of coronavirus - fever, sore throat, dry cough, shortness of breath - you should immediately contact an ambulance. “Do not forget: disregard of the rules is a threat to life!” the message concludes.
