Netanyahu: Israel-Azerbaijan ties an example of coexistence
During the visit to Azerbaijan, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed the close ties between Israel and Turkey, said the publication timesofisrael.com.
"There is one particular aspect of the relationship between us," said Netanyahu. "Israel is a Jewish state and Turkey is Muslim with significant Muslim majorities. Here we have an example of Muslims and Jews working together to create a better future for both."
Netanyahu spoke about Turkey taking into account the statement of former president Heydar Aliyev, who described the relations of Turkey and Azerbaijan: "Two states - one nation". -0--
