On January 2 early in the morning a new explosion took place on the main gas pipeline near the settlement of Sangachal.
According to the Emergencies Ministry, the explosion happened at the same location as the previous one of December 27 - 43 kilometers from Baku, near the compressor station.
After the explosion on the 1000-mm gas pipeline, there was a fire.
The emergency forces began to fight the fire. After the explosion the gas supply to a number of objects stopped.
The causes or the casualties of the new explosion have not been reported. -0-
