In particular, Ilham Aliyev met with the head of the Parliament of Slovenia, Mityana Bervar.
The sides discussed prospects of bilateral relations in various fields. Then Aliyev received Andrey Kostin, the President of the Russian bank "VTB". They discussed cooperation in the financial sector and in particular in the banking sector. An exchange of views on the prospects of such cooperation.
On the same day the head of state received the Minister of Industry of the Czech Republic Jan Mládek, discuss with him the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the economic field. In particular, they discussed the possible mutual investment and cooperation in the energy sector. -02D-

On February 6, 2025, the Khatai District Court of Baku decided to place journalist Shahnaz Beylyargizi under arrest for three months and 15 days. According to lawyer Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, Beylyarghizi has been charged with the same accusations as the previously arrested journalists and activists in the Toplum TV case. However, Beylyargizi is being prosecuted in a separate case.
