Baku/30.05.18/Turan: Leaders of opposition parties condemned arrests of REAL activists. Jamil Hasanli, chairman of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF), called the arrest of Azer Gasimli, the member of the Majlis of REAL, an indicator of the deplorable situation of the human rights situation. He called the unsanctioned charge of Gasimli not subordinating the police. Hasanli said that on May 28 during the action dedicated to the memory of the APR he was always near Gasimli and he did not commit any irregularities, did not rude to the policemen, and in general he is a polite intelligent person. Hasanli accused the authorities of mocking the memory of the founders of the APR, persecution of activists who celebrated the 100th anniversary of the republic.

The head of Musavat, Arif Hajili, also called the arrests of the activists who took part in the street march on the Republic Day, not respecting the values ​​of the APR. Leader of the Popular Front Party Ali Kerimli accused the authorities of trying to establish a cemetery silence in the country.
