OSCE Minsk Group Visits Karabakh
Khankend/22.11.12/Turan-ArmInfo: During a November 22, visit to Nagorno-Karabakh, co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Robert Bradtke (USA), Igor Popov (Russia), and Jacques Faure (France) met with separatist leader, Bako Sahakian .
The meeting focused on settling the Karabakh conflict and the latest trends in the region. Sahakyan complained about the politicization of humanitarian issues and Baku's military rhetoric, calling it a serious blow to the negotiating process. He encouraged the co-chairs to influence Azerbaijan and work toward "constructivism."
Sahakyan confirmed his earlier position that the settlement of the conflict is possible "only in view of the current realities, and any attempt to return to the past will lead to the failure of the settlement." -02D-
