Police disperse protest at Fountain Square
Dozens of opposition supporters were detained for attempting to hold a protest rally at Fountain Square in central Baku. In breaking up the meeting hundreds of police were involved. They arrived in 10 buses.
As Turan reported from the scene, police immediately grabbed the opposition activists, who are chanting slogans "Freedom" and "Resign!", and drag them into police cars and buses.
However, new small opposition groups are trying to gather in the square, and are immediately detained by police.
