Putin and Erdogan agree on a personal meeting
The presidents of Russia and Turkey agreed during a telephone conversation on a private meeting on Wednesday, said the Turkish leader's press service. Putin expressed condolences on the terrorist attack at the airport of Istanbul. They talked also about normalization of relations between the two countries, and stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation, the report said.
Earlier, NTV television, citing its own sources said that talks between the two presidents lasted for forty minutes, and were "productive and positive". Last time the two leaders spoke in November at the summit of "Big Twenty" in Antalya, Turkey. Just a few days after a Turkish fighter jet shot down over Syria Russia's Su-24 bomber.
