The rapporteurs of PACE Monitoring Committee - Tadeusz Iwinski and Pedro Agramunt will visit Azerbaijan in early March. According to sources in the Council of Europe, the speakers will conduct regular monitoring of the implementation of Azerbaijan's commitments to the Council of Europe. During the visit they will meet with government officials, members of parliament, civil society and the media. This will be the first visit of Tadeusz Iwinski to Azerbaijan; he was appointed a spokesperson for Azerbaijan at the recent PACE winter session instead Deborah Joseph Ghrekh. On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years.
