Rapporteurs of the PACE Monitoring Committee to visit
Stefan Schennach (Austria, SOC) and Cezar Florin Preda (Romania, EPP/CD), PACE co-rapporteurs for the monitoring of Azerbaijan, will visit the country to further assess the honoring of its obligations and commitments to the Council of Europe.
Visit of the rapporteurs is carried out against the background of the publication of the international NGO European Stability Initiative (ESI) report on "Caviar Diplomacy-2", which contains the facts of bribery by some members of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, members of the Assembly. Official Baku has not commented on these condemns.–06D--
