Report 2010: Global justice gap condemns millions to abuse

Senior military officials from more than 70 countries have gathered in Baku for the 17th Seminar on the International Rules Governing Military Operations (SWIRMO).

As a result of measures taken by the Azerbaijani government, 6 citizens of Azerbaijan were repatriated from Syria on 18 September and two more from Iraq on 7 October, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said on Monday.

A meeting of CIS Foreign Ministers is taking place in Moscow on 7 October. Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov are attending the meeting. However, no bilateral meeting of the Ministers is planned.

The commander of the Second Army Corps, Lieutenant General Mais Barkhudarov, has been dismissed by the order of the head of state.
