Before that, 45 deputies of the parliament made a petition to change the measure of restraint, but the prosecutor rejected their petition.
Kocharyan was brought to the investigation on charges of overthrowing the constitutional order on March 1-2, 2008. Then against the thousands of demonstrators protesting the army and the police used weapons, killing 10 people. -02D-
