Baku/08.12.22/Turan: On Thursday, a meeting was held in Ashgabat between the Chairman of the Upper House of the Turkmen Parliament - Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova.
The parties discussed the issues of development of interstate relations, as well as cooperation in the transport, energy and inter-parliamentary spheres.
The meeting resulted in signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries.
Then Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov presented Sahiba Gafarova with the order "For contribution to the development of cooperation." ---02D---
