Schennach and Schwabe Condemn Post-election Violence
Baku/13.02.20/Turan: “I am deeply concerned about the situation taking place in #Azerbaijan after the election. Detentions and violence against opposition and independent candidates is outrageous. I urge the authorities to fully respect human rights,” Frank Schwabe, coordinator of the PACE observer mission on February 9, wrote on his micro blog on Twitter.
“I'm really worried about what happened around this early election: ballot-box-stuffing, journalists beaten, and irregularities everywhere - in real the turnout was under 40 % - it is not good,” PACE rapporteur on Azerbaijan Stefan Schennach tweeted in turn. -02D-
