The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense reported that in the mediation of the OSCE and the ICRC the body of the soldier Chingiz Salman oglu Gurbanov, who became Shaheed (martyr) during suppressing the enemy's provocation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border on 29 December 2016, was transferred to the Azerbaijani side on February 5.
The procedure for receiving the soldier's corpse was implemented in the direction of the village Bala Jafarli of the Gazakh region with the adoption of appropriate measures by the Ministry of Defense and through the mediation of the Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The body of Shaheed Chingiz Gurbanov, after receiving it from the opposite side, was sent to Baku, accompanied by a honor guard and with military honors. -0
