US Embassy Announces Spelling Bee Knowledge Competition
Baku /30.10.18/Turan: The US Embassy in collaboration with the American Centers announces the "Spelling Bee" competition in the field of English language skills for schoolchildren. According to the information received by Turan, the competition will be held in Ganja, Kurdamir, Salyan and Khachmaz American centers among schoolchildren aged 12-13, 14-15 and 16-17 years at the expense of the US Embassy.
Those who wish to take part in the competition should be registered on October 25 - November 10 in the regional American centers.
The "Spelling Bee" competition is part of the joint efforts of the Azerbaijani Education Ministry and the US Embassy to learn English. -16D-

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry declined to clarify for Turan the conflict reported by the Politico website between Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the EU Vagif Sadikhov and Armenia's head of diplomatic representation to the EU, Tigran Balayan. The Ministry only confirmed that Politico had indeed communicated with the Azerbaijani ambassador and that he told the foreign media outlet that everything Balayan claimed was false.
