Will Solovyov Change His Attitude towards Karabakh Conflict?
On April 7, the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received the television and radio presenter of the All-Russian State TV and Radio Company Vladimir Solovyov.
The Russian journalist noted that for the first time he visited Baku and the processes of rapid development in the Azerbaijani capital made a deep impression on him, the report on the website of the President said.
In his turn, Aliyev noted that active work is being done aimed at bringing the truth about Azerbaijan to the world community. He outlined the position of Azerbaijan related to the Armenian-Azerbaijani, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Aliyev also noted that Azerbaijan and Russia successfully cooperate in the field of humanitarian relations, including media, as in all other spheres.
Solovyov thanked the head of state for the detailed and comprehensive information and stressed that a thorough acquaintance with the processes taking place in Azerbaijan is of great interest to him.
Currently, Solovyov is the presenter of a series of talk shows and radio Vesti FM. Solovyov is known for his pro-Armenian and anti-Azerbaijani position in the Karabakh conflict. In this sense, Solovyov's visit to Baku can be considered a surprise, just like the arrival of Vladimir Zhirinovsky in Azerbaijan. -06D--
