90% of drug crimes committed the unemployed
Baku / 27.08.18 / Turan: Of the 12 844 crimes registered in January-June in Azerbaijan, 1813 or 14.1% are related to the illegal trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances, according to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan on August 27. 58.2% of these crimes were committed without the purpose of marketing and in an amount exceeding the standard for personal consumption.
33% of crimes were committed for the purposes of rugs trade or production.
Of the 1,227 persons who committed drug offenses, 87.2 did not work anywhere and did not study, 38.4% - previously convicted.
79.1% of those who committed drug offenses are people over the age of 30, 13.3% - 25-29 years, 7.3% - 18-24 years.
In the first half of the year 1441.9 kilo of narcotic substances were confiscated. -06D-
